housing research

Innovation Central is undertaking a research project to identify best practice leadership within the housing Sector.

The project is designed to support the Sector in recognising and highlighting the leadership strengths and areas of improvement that statistically exist within Executive and Senior Leadership teams in Housing.

Having amassed a wealth of data via our 360 assessment process, we are very keen to put this to additional use for the benefit of the Sector.

We stress that this is not a finger pointing exercise; it is undertaken with the express intention of furthering our own and others’ understanding of the leadership commonalities within the sector, in addition to areas where the Sector, as a whole, may need to focus in order to progress and thrive in future generations.

A broad selection of Exec and Senior Leadership team data is being reviewed, with all sizes of organisation in consideration.

We are now looking to further strengthen the validity of the research by inviting additional Exec teams to partake in the process.  The 360 assessments will be offered by Innovation Central free of charge; a clear question set and frequency measures have already been defined to provide clarity and consistency across the data set.

Please note, numbers are limited and debriefing of the 360’s will not be included in the process; however the data and full written feedback report will be made available for such purposes.

The Sector continues to change at a pace, our question is this: are the leadership skills and behavioural capabilities that were relevant three years ago appropriate to future proof organisational success?

The report will be circulated to all participants, via Innovation Central’s blog and via Sector press.

If keen to be involved, please contact us.

A number of our team will be at this year’s CIH housing conference, on Tuesday June 24th should anybody wish to meet and discuss further.

Thanks

The IC team
